It is wise to save your model as often as possible to avoid the possibility of losing work in the event of a power outage or similar mishap.
- Select Save from the File menu. The Save Model dialog is displayed.
- Select the drive and directory where you want to store the model file.

Enter the name of the file (for the purposes of this exercise, type POTS). STEM automatically adds a .dtl file extension.
