4.14.2 Restoring a default value with the Unset command

If you have previously set a field with a value or formula, but now want to return it to its default value:

  1. Select the field in the data-dialog grid with the mouse or cursor keys.
  2. Select Unset from the dialog Edit menu.

The field returns to its default value, displayed in grey.

For an input governed by several parameters, such as a time-series button, the Unset command will remove a formula on the button for the input as a whole, but does not affect any overriding values you may have entered for the inner fields – see 4.14.3 Linking default values for model elements.

In order to clear all the inner fields:

  1. Select the button in the data-dialog grid with the mouse or cursor keys.
  2. Select Unset Below from the dialog Edit menu.

The button and all the inner fields are restored to their previous default values and are all displayed in grey.
