We have projected the demand from customers. Now we must dimension the assets required
to deliver the service. The resource element in STEM
represents one source of cost, and captures the physical parameters and costs associated
with one unit of provision.
We will start (as a trivial warm-up) with the Optical interface,
one of which is required per customer (to connect the subscriber line to the Access card).
