9.4.9 Examining sensitivities for multiple elements and scenarios

Sensitivity analyses can involve several model elements, and it is also possible to include a number of scenarios in the results that are generated. The Results program provides sophisticated graphing options that allow you to examine such complex sets of sensitivity results from a range of perspectives, and to identify the most crucial impacts.

Consider a model with three scenarios for market size, and in which sensitivity tests have been defined for two services. Results can be graphed in a number of ways, as follows:

  • NPV sensitivities for all three scenarios, represented as three separate tornadoes on one chart.
  • service Revenue sensitivities for both services, represented as two tornadoes on one chart.
  • NPV sensitivities as Difference from the baseline results, represented as a tornado around zero.
