STEM help / Distributable STEM

7.2 Working with run-time models

If you are proposing to use D-STEM to distribute a run-time model, clearly this in no way lessens the need to validate the model before ‘going public’. A model can be developed and tested using a conventional dongle. When you are confident that the model is actually ready to distribute, you can export a ‘frozen’ run-time copy which can be run without a dongle. (The original STEM model will be unchanged and will still require a dongle.)
