STEM help / Basic concepts
3.8.1 Checking and correcting the model data
Select
Check for Errors
from the
File
menu or select the
button on the toolbar. This checks the data throughout the model and compiles a list of errors.
If there are no data errors, the message “No data errors” will appear in the status bar of the model window.
If there are data errors, STEM will display the data dialog and highlight the field which contains the first data error. An indication of what is wrong with the data is given in a standard error tooltip next to the field in question.
Correct the data item.
Select
Next Error
from the
File
menu or select from the
Next/Previous error buttons on the toolbar.
STEM displays the data dialog that contains the next error in the compiled list.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the status bar message reads “No more errors”.
