All STEM licences (both C and D) prohibit the re-distribution of the master STEM software as supplied by Implied Logic to the
licensee. However, the D-STEM licence specifically allows for the distribution
of exported, run-time software components to third parties. These components
are generated by the D-STEM Editor as part of the run-time export process.
The distributable run-time model engine never looks for a
dongle, but it will only process run-time models. It is the conjunction of an
exported run-time model with a distributable run-time model engine which
delivers the goal of a working STEM model which can be shared with non-licensee
colleagues and customers.
