If you want to copy text from or to the formula for a field in the Editor, simply select the required text in the formula bar. Whenever you are editing a formula, the standard Copy and Paste menu and keyboard commands – which usually act on the data itself – change to act on the selected text in the formula bar. Additionally, you can Cut text to the clipboard:

select Copy Text, Cut Text or Paste Text from a dialog Edit menu, or

press <Ctrl+C>, <Ctrl+X> or <Ctrl+V>, respectively.
