1.6.2 Peak-driven traffic calculation governed by separate transformation output

It has long been possible to drive the Customer Base, Penetration or Traffic per Connection inputs of a service from a separate transformation:

  • as a simple driver, or
  • to establish a value-chain with a connected resource, or
  • to define a cross-charge structure.

However, this possibility was unintentionally overlooked when the Nominal Bandwidth per Connection input was added for data services in STEM 7.0. This has been corrected in STEM 7.5 such that now the Nominal Bandwidth per Connection input can be driven by any transformation with an instantaneous output.
