If you have drawn a number of graphs in the Results program, you can save the underlying numerical data from all these graphs in a file, again as tab-separated text:
- Select Draw… or Draw New… from the Graphs menu to draw the graphs.
-
Select Save All Visible… from the Graphs menu. A standard Windows file-selection dialog appears, entitled Select a Graph File.
-
By default, the data is saved in a file called stem.grh, the current directory.
-
If you want to save the data somewhere else, select the drive and directory and type in the desired filename (STEM automatically adds the
.grh
extension).
- The file can be opened in a program such as Notepad.
If you type or select the name of a file that already exists, STEM will ask you whether you wish to overwrite it, append the new data or choose a different name.
Visible graphs saved as text
The results data can now be loaded or imported directly into another application.
