When you run the first model in a session (or open the model results directly from the Results program), the Results program will look for a
.smw
file in the same directory and with the same name as the model. If this workspace file exists, then the previous working environment will be restored, including all graphs, tables, and any other models which were loaded in the previous session. Otherwise a new workspace will be created. When first saved, STEM will create the
.smw
file in the same directory and with the same name as the original model.
Note: If you are working with scenarios, or with a template-replication expanded model, the workspace will still be named as per the original, unexpanded working model.
