9.3.5.2 Showing scenario numbers

STEM allocates a unique reference number to a scenario when it is first created, used internally by STEM to differentiate between scenarios. This number remains the same for as long as the scenario exists, even when extra variants are created in any dimension, so that the generated scenario inputs and results are not immediately invalidated by changes to the scenario structure.

These numbers are of little use to the user and are hidden by default. The scenario numbers can be displayed by right clicking on a scenario in the Scenarios and Sensitivities dialog, and selecting Show Scenario Numbers. The numbers will be displayed in brackets after the scenario names.
