The STEM Results program can be customised through the use of configuration files. The configuration file contains the results that are available to view, the format of the graphs showing the results, and the format of tables of results. Usually STEM automatically loads the default configuration from a file called
default.cnf. However, if the results or graph definitions are not entirely the ones you want for the model you are investigating, then you can modify the characteristics of the default (or any other) configuration file and save them as a new configuration file with an appropriate title (usually the same name as the results file). When you next load that model, it will load its associated configuration file. In other words if you load model results called
pots.smr, STEM will load pots.cnf
automatically instead of
default.cnf, if you have saved a special configuration for that model.
