Two new options present in the Format tab govern the inclusion of ‘uninteresting values’:
-
Hide Zero-Value Series: any series that are identically zero are hidden automatically in the resulting graph.
-
Hide Unavailable Series: any series that are temporarily unavailable (e.g., a scenario that has not been run) are hidden in the resulting graph.
Note: it is important not to confuse these two options with the similarly-named options in the Remove Series dialog (see Uninteresting combinations in 5.3.2 Removing series from a graph), which permanently remove series from a graph. These options in the Format tab only temporarily hide series – the series are reinstated when the graph is updated if no longer zero or when they become available (e.g., if a scenario is subsequently run).
