Certain time-series inputs can be defined as a reference to another element. This mechanism allows the value of the time series to be evaluated at run time, based on the Output of a Transformation. For example it might be useful to link the Deployment of one Resource to the number of Installed Units of another, via a Transformation.
This mechanism also provides a convenient way to use the same Market Segment or Location data for several Services or Deployments, respectively.
