If you accidentally select the wrong field, you can cancel an edit at any time:
- click on the
button, or
- press <Esc>.
The original value is not changed.
Note: Clicking on another field does not finish an edit, but picks up a reference to another field – see 4.12 Creating formulae and internal references.
To complete the edit:
- click on the
button, or
- press <Enter>, or
- press <Tab>/<Shift+Tab> to complete and move straight on to the next/previous field.
