When you first build a STEM model, you will probably have just one view, with the usual icons representing each and every element in that model. However, you may choose to alter the appearance of elements in that view, or choose to create additional views.

Individual icons can be temporarily hidden, or removed from a view altogether, with the Hide and Remove from view commands selected from an icon menu.

You can change the image displayed for individual icons, also all icons representing elements of a given type (e.g., all Service icons in a view).
